 CLASSES

  1. Introduction to HazMat - An overview of the regulations & process. Covers required General Awareness Training. Self-study option available.
  2. Small Battery Transport - For shipping small lithium, non-spillable lead acid, NiCad, NiMH, Alkaline and Zinc batteries. Self-study option available.
  3. Hand Sanitizer by Ground Transport - For shipping ethanol or isopropanol based hand sanitizers, up to 80%, by ground carrier within the United States as Limited Quantities. Includes classification, packaging and marking requirements. 
  4. Basic Hazardous Materials Transport - Full 49CFR training for shippers requiring knowledge of a wide variety of hazardous materials. Includes a classification overview, detailed packaging information, and full communication requirements. Focuses on ground shipment of flammable liquids, corrosives and toxic materials as well as other hazards as requested. Does not cover explosives, infectious substances or radioactive materials. Self-study option available.
  5. Dangerous Goods by Air Transport- Full IATA/ICAO training for shippers requiring knowledge of a wide variety of hazardous materials. Includes a classification overview, detailed packaging information, and full communication requirements. Focuses on air shipment of flammable liquids, corrosives and toxic materials as well as other hazards as requested. Does not cover explosives, infectious substances or radioactive materials. 
  6. Dangerous Goods by Ocean Transport - Full IMDG training for shippers requiring knowledge of a wide variety of hazardous materials. Includes a classification overview, detailed packaging information, and full communication requirements. Focuses on ocean shipment of flammable liquids, corrosives and toxic materials as well as other hazards as requested. Does not cover explosives, infectious substances or radioactive materials. 
  7. Dry Ice - For shipping non-regulated materials on dry ice by air or ground transport. Self-study option available.
  8. Biological Substances (Category B) - For shipping biological materials that are not Category A, with or without dry ice, by air or ground transport. 
  9. Infectious Substances (Category A) - For shipping Category A infectious substances, with or without dry ice, by air or ground transport. 
  10. Materials of Trade - For employees that pick up, transport and use hazardous materials in their work. 
  11. Recertification Training - For previously trained employees with solid regulatory experience to quickly recertify 49CFR and IATA/ICAO training. It is fast paced and students must be familiar with the use of the regulations (i.e. regularly use them). 
  12. Specialty Courses - Content will be as requested by the client and focus entirely on materials, packaging and issues related to that client's operations. Customized courses can be created to meet any hazardous materials/dangerous goods training need.
